Finding Dory: First Trailer for Finding Nemo Sequel is Here
Walt Disney Studios and Pixar have finally released the first trailer for the highly-anticipated and long awaited sequel to the 2003 smash hit Finding Nemo, dubbed Finding Dory. In the new film, Dory (Ellen DeGeneres reprising her seminal role) and her friends Nemo and Marlin (Albert Brooks) go on a search for answers on Dory’s parents. Audiences will finally learn about Dory’s parents (voiced by Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton) and why Dory can speak whale. In the new trailer, Dory is having a dream about her mother and then she starts sleep swimming, which draws the attention of Marlin and Nemo. Other clips show that Dory seems to remember something about her parents, so she has to go on an adventure to find them on an adventure…that she probably won’t even remember later on.
It looks like Disney and Pixar will have another gigantic hit on their hands. After a bit of a slump, Pixar appears to be back in top form with Inside Out. However, a sequel to one of Pixar’s biggest hits ever seemed like it was inevitable at some point. Andrew Stanton returns to direct the film, which also features the voice talents of Ed O’Neill (as an octopus) and Ty Burrell. Finding Dory swims into theaters on June 17, 2016.
