Books Wheel of Time series

I'm currently reading Book 12 of the series - the one written by Brandon Sanderson, not Robert Jordan. I must admit that Sanderson does an excellent job of keeping the inimitable Jordan style going in this posthumous ending to the series. I know there are a couple other books related to the Wheel of Time, but I'm pretty sure they are offshoots or prequels, so I believe I'll soon see Rand, Mat, Perrin and the others defeat the Dark One.

You're almost there! There's only one more book in the main story after 12. I enjoyed Sanderson's faster pacing. I think he might have finally gotten Mat's character down by book you're reading now. Also, the ending was pretty awesome.

New Spring is the prequel title. I enjoyed it. It features Siuan and Moiraine in their earlier days.
