Game Consoles Will Finally Hit $250 On Black Friday
Here it is barely November and already some merchants are revealing their video game-related Black Friday deals. None of the big ones yet, but what these two outfits will be offering is worth keeping in mind.
The first leak comes from the Dell company, which not only sells computers but has their own electronics store online. Dell will be offering a 500 GB Battlefield 1 XBox One S bundle with an extra controller and a copy of Gears of War 4 for $250.
The second comes out of Sam’s Club, who has revealed they’ll be selling the Uncharted 4 PS4 slim bundle for $250 and the 500 GB Battlefield 1 and Minecraft bundles for the same price. In addition, they’re throwing in a free XBox One controller if you go Microsoft.
It’s the best deal yet if you don’t own one of these, and it will likely set a precedent. Last year several merchants lowered their current-gen consoles down to $300; I would expect them to be following Dell’s and Sam’s examples here and slash the XBox One and PS4 even further.
Dell’s deal goes live at 9 PM Eastern, 6 PM Pacific on Thanksgiving Day; Sam’s Club will offer the sales in its stores beginning at 7 AM on Black Friday, though some will be offered on their website beforehand.
