Gamers will be able to access their PlayStation 4 digital library on any system
The PlayStation 4 will allow gamers to sign in to their PlayStation Network account and access their complete digital library from any system.
Speaking to Develop, Sony’s senior R&D team leader Neil Brown outlined the process which allows gamers to gain access to their games on other PlayStation 4 console.
“You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good. But how useful is that if it takes half a day to download the game you want to play? “
Brown also goes on to explain that gamers need not worry about long download times as the PlayStation 4 has a Play As You Download feature where gamers will be able to at least gain access to the first section of the game while the rest of it downloads in the background.
Microsoft also announced a similar feature back in June where they said that gamers will be able to play their Xbox One games on any other machine due to the games being store on the cloud.
