Gamescom 2017: Monster Hunter: World Will Have DLC
Monster Hunter: World will have a very special place in the series history, as it’s the first modern Monster Hunter game to come to consoles in some time. What’s more, the team at Capcom are working very hard that the “world” aspect of the game is well done. They don’t want barren areas, they want places full of life and content. And that includes getting more content via DLC.
During Gamescom 2017, some of the team noted that DLC for Monster Hunter: World will be free, just like it always has been in the past:
“We will continue to release free quests as we always have,” Monster Hunter: World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto told Polygon
What’s more, the game will have plenty of content even without the DLC, which was a big priority for them:
“We have made sure we are putting the volume of gameplay people expect from a Monster Hunter,” said executive producer Kaname Fujioka. “I think we have our priorities right. We don’t want to let any users down who are used to Monster Hunter being a great, meaty experience.”
Monster Hunter: World is coming out in 2018 to PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
