Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Launch Trailer
Telltale Games dropped a new launch trailer today ahead of the digital download release this week for Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. The first episode of the episodic games series arrives on April 18 for $4.99 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Mac. The game is also available on iOS and Android through the iTunes App Store and Google Play. You can check out the new launch trailer in the player below.
Additionally, the game will then be released as a special Season Pass Disc release starting on May 2 at retailers across North America for $29.99. The special Season Pass Disc will include Episode One: Tangled Up in Blue. It will also grant players with access to download the later episodes via online updates as they are released throughout the rest of the year. Additional platforms will be revealed later on.
The upcoming game features a new story of the unlikely heroes, the Guardians of the Galaxy, featuring: Star-Lord aka Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. After an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of immense power. Each of them desires this relic as well as a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and she will do anything to get it. The episodic game series will take players from Earth to the spaceship Milano to Knowhere and beyond. Players decisions and actions drive the experience.
The voice cast for the game includes Scott Porter as Star-Lord, Emily O’Brien as Gamora, Nolan North as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells as Drax, and Adam Harrington as Groot.
