Hunting Lands Will Screen At Newport Beach Film Festival
APS Films’ Hunting Lands had its premiere in February at the 2018 Cinequest Film & VR Festival. The multiple-award-winning film is about a reclusive hermit who is forced to face the world when he comes across a young victim who needs help. If you couldn’t make it, a new screening has been announced, this one at Newport Beach, California during the Newport Beach Film Festival. Here’s everything you need to know:
Reclusive veteran Frank Olsen yearns to escape from the complexities of the modern world. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the world comes looking for him. When he discovers a discarded, beaten woman fighting for her life in the snow, Frank must decide whether to continue to turn his back on society or confront the world he loathes.
Hunting Lands stars Marshall Cook (Football III: Division’s Finest), Joe Raffa (You’ll Know My Name) and Keyna Reynolds (Moving Parts). The film was written and directed by Zack Wilcox, and Edwin Stevens served as executive producer.
