Illusoria Set for Steam Launch Next Week
Under the Bridge and BadLand Games officially announced this week that the fantasy 2D platform game, Illusoria, is going to get a Windows PC launch on May 30 via Steam. Illusoria has been inspired by games such as Heart of Darkness and Flashback and takes gamers into a dangerous fantasy realm with monsters and secrets. Players take the role of the Keeper of the Flame and go on a quest to protect an Empress and save Illusoria from a terrifying curse. The Puppet Master has escaped from the void, and he has started to corrupt the land. Living creatures are being turned into monsters that attack and kill everything. Now, the Keeper has to race against the clock and obtain the power of a Guardian to stop the Puppet Master for good.
The game features 12 levels and and environments and animations that have been painted frame by frame. The game also goes for a minimalist HUD, so it doesn’t get in the way of the gameplay experience. Illusoria also features an original soundtrack compsed by Victor Riera with an emphasis on environmental sound effects.
Illusoria arrives on Windows PC via Steam on Tuesday, May 30. The game will be priced at $9.99 at launch.
