Injustice 2: New Story Trailer Revealed
Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Entertainment released a new trailer this week for Injustice 2, which sets the stage for the game’s story and how the villainous version of Superman and his Regime once again came to power. You can check out the new trailer in the player below.
In the clip, Batman in narration explains that after years of fighting crime, he has learned that “Every villain is the hero of his own story.” There’s some more background focusing on the evil, fascist dictator version of Superman and his background story of the world of Injustice 2. Gamers will also learn more about how the Regime is taking control again becoming a threat to the world.
Since the Injustice series introduces heroes from an alternate dimension, they are able to play around the dynamics of these characters. Hence, there is a version of Superman who has gone rogue after the death of Lois Lane, and he’s opted to rule the Earth with an iron fist. This leaves Batman as one of the few heroes left to stand against Superman and his Regime.
So far, the upcoming sequel is looking promising. Injustice 2 finally arrives on May 16. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
