You should never underestimate the Maid of Orleans…the English learned this too late, and so did anyone who doubted the crowdfunding campaign for Mythic GamesTime of Legends: Joan of Arc board game. The campaign just wrapped and generated $4,257,377, setting a new record for Game On Tabletop, the crowdfunding site devoted to tabletop games.

“It was a wonderful challenge Mythic Games brought to us and we were thrilled to create a Late Pledge campaign for Joan of Arc that expanded the reach and impact beyond the traditional crowdfunding campaign,” says Laura Hoffmann, Game On Tabletop’s business manager. “Raising $2 million on a single campaign is a new record for Game On Tabletop and proves our ability to cater to large-scale campaigns. On a personal note, it’s been an amazing time working with the Mythic Games team and we look forward to bringing more of their games to the Game On Tabletop community.”

Time of Legends: Joan of Arc is a miniatures board game of dark medieval fantasy, narrative adventures and historical battles. It is set to the backdrop of the Hundred Years War, one that blends the history of the period with the beliefs of the people who lived at the time, allowing the game to explore both the historical and the fantastical.

Previously Mythic Games created Mythic Battles: Pantheon, a game where you played a god seeking to gain control of Olympus. It was successfully crowdfunded in 2016 and released in 2017.
