Justice League Play “Small Role” In Batman V Superman
Since its reveal, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was already set to be a historic film, as it’s the first live-action film to have Batman and Superman together. Then it was discovered that Wonder Woman would be in the film as well. After that, Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman were rumored/confirmed to be in BVS as well. As such, fans have wondered just how much we’ll see some of these characters, and how their appearances will affect the overall film.
In the Hall of Justice podcast, director Zack Snyder put a simple answer to the question, one though that gives definite scale to the roles of the other Justice League members in the film:
“As far as the other Justice League characters go, they play a very small role,” Snyder told the Hall of Justice podcast. “It’s really just a whisper they exist. Except for Wonder Woman, we see her really well. But really the movie is about Batman and Superman. And we really take time with them and we really drill down on the why of them and what they stand for and their beliefs and them as characters. That’s pretty much the why of the movie. But again as I said, it does begin the conversation about these guys are out there.”
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives March 25th.
