LA Noire Coming To Modern Consoles, Including Switch
Rockstar Games announced today they are rereleasing their 2011 detective game LA Noire for modern consoles….Playstation 4, XBox One, and Nintendo Switch. The fact that the Switch is being included in this conversation is a welcome and positive surprise for Nintendo fans, given that Rockstar has ignored the company’s machines ever since Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars was itself ignored by consumers on the DS.
The Switch version of LA Noire will include the main game and all released DLC, plus some extra control features designed to take advantage of the Switch’s gyroscope and touch capabilities. The PS4 and XBox One versions will boast massive texture and lighting updates, plus the ability to play in 4K on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
And there’s more: LA Noire is even coming to a VR machine. The HTC Vive will get The VR Case Files, a spinoff that includes seven cases from the main game “rebuilt specifically for virtual reality.”
All of these versions, including the VR game, will come to retail on the same day: November 14, 2017.
