Legends Of Tomorrow Dealing With “Occult” Threat
So, Legends of Tomorrow was by far the biggest risk of any of the DC/CW shows, mainly because it was a show that didn’t deal directly with a comic book series. Yes, it had loose themes via Rip Hunter and other characters, but it struggled to find its identity in Season 01. But then, in Season 02, it blew everyone’s minds with just how good it became. Now, everyone is looking to Season 03 to top Season 03, and at the TCA’s, we got a glimpse into the future.
First up, the Legends will be facing another super team, however, this one will be very different from the Legion of Doom:
“At the head of whatever you want to call our evil organization, it’s different. Last year it was three characters from the three different shows that form this alliance. This is a non-human entity,” executive producer Phil Klemmer revealed during the Television Critics Association press tour. “This is a much more supernatural, spooky vibe this season. We’re dealing more with magic. It’s less real-world bad guys.” “be more in the world of the occult and monsters” as a whole.
The good news is that we won’t have to wait long to find out who it is, they will be revealed in the season premiere, and will “be more in the world of the occult and monsters.”
What’s more, this “being” will be responsible for the resurrection of Damien Darhk. As in the version that was killed at the end of Arrow Season 04.
Two final interesting tidbits, we will be seeing Gorilla Grodd on this show, but not the form we saw in The Flash. AND, the team is still trying to get John Constantine on the show.
Legends of Tomorrow arrives on CW October 10th.
