Mass Effect 3 DLC Announced
BioWare has announced the two final pieces of DLC for Mass Effect 3, effectively ending the story of Shepard. The DLCs for both single-player and multiplayer are named Citadel and Reckoning respectively.
Mass Effect 3: Citadel centers on a sinister conspiracy which targets Shepard. You and your team must uncover the truth through battles and intrigue which features the glamor of the Citadel’s Wards and a top-secret Council Archives. The old cast from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 are also back for this adventure.
However, the adventure does not end there. Players can reconnect with their favorite characters from the trilogy, try their luck at a new casino, explore and furnish a new living quarters for Shepard on the Citadel or try out a combat arena.
In the largest DLC for single-player full of unique content and cinematics, Xbox 360 owners will have to download this content in two parts. The first at 1,200 Microsoft Points while getting the second part for free. The second part will not work without the first part.
PC and PlayStation 3 owners will get to download the full Citadel DLC in one download.
Mass Effect 3: Citadel will be released on March 5th worldwide for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. EU PlayStation 3 owners will be able to download it on March 6th 2013.

For multiplayer, BioWare has announced that the final DLC, named Mass Effect 3: Reckoning, will feature new characters for players to play. These include the Geth Juggernaut, Cabal Vanguard, Talon Mercenary and the Alliance Infiltration Unit. These are some of the new classes which players will get in the upcoming multiplayer DLC, Reckoning.
Reckoning will also feature 7 new weapons such as Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle, Venom Shotgun and Lancer Assault Rifle. New weapon mods like the Geth Scanner and Assault Rifle Omni-blade will also be available.
Mass Effect 3: Reckoning will be available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 worldwide on February 26th 2013. EU PlayStation 3 owners will be able to download it on February 27th 2013.
Mass Effect 3: Reckoning is free on all platforms.

Interesting. More time with squadmates and a conspiracy, hopefully the Daro’Xen conspiracy.
Still not gonna buy it though.

Haha. I realize that the story went down the crapper with the release of Mass Effect 3, but I can’t help not buying the singleplayer DLC. I’ve always bought Mass Effect DLCs in the past. The universe which BioWare created really intrigues me.
