Metal Gear Solid V To Be Sold In One Package This October
Just yesterday I was staring at a PS3 copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes in a supermarket bargain bin and wondering if Konami was ever going to unite the game they’d initially split. MGS V was released in two halves: Ground Zeroes as a three-hour appetizer, and The Phantom Pain as the main course. It’d be just like the Konami of today to keep them separated forever and charge us more, right?
Well…..guess again. The world’s most hated video game company announced today Kojima’s final MGS game would be united at last inside one package, and with all the DLC content as well. Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience will be released for the PS4, XBox One and PC this fall, with a retail price of $49.99 (okay, so they’re not being nice completely, but what do you expect?)
DLC offerings for MGS V were slim, but The Definitive Experience will give you all the extra weapons, shields and costumes from the get-go, as well as all the items for Metal Gear Online and both bonus missions for Ground Zeroes.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience sneaks into stores October 11. This is the same day Rise of the Tomb Raider hits PS4; it’ll be a big day for repackaged games.
