More Offerings For Black Friday 2016: Walmart and Best Buy
As we predicted, the $250 console will be the new trend. Walmart’s $250 PS4 is an especially good deal, as it comes with three games (Uncharted, The Last Of Us Remastered and Ratchet & Clank) AND the store is throwing in a $30 gift card. Their XBox One offering is the Battlefield 1 bundle, also for $250, and if you can believe it they’re still selling a 360 for $129.
On the games side, Walmart is offering deep discounts on a lot of recent titles. NBA 2k17, WWE 2K17, Mafia 3, the Destiny Collection, Overwatch, the BioShock Collection, Witcher 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Gold Edition and the Lego Harry Potter Collection will all be $35 on both consoles. Madden NFL 17, Battlefield 1, FIFA 17 and Titanfall 2 will be $27, and Mortal Kombat X, Grand Theft Auto 5, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Batman: Return to Arkham, Ghostbusters, Mortal Kombat XL, Batman Telltale Series, Dying Light and The Division will be marked down to $25.
At Best Buy, the same 3-game bundle for PS4 is the same price ($250) but without the gift card. They will also sell you a PS4 Pro and a Toshiba 55-inch LED 4K UHD TV together for $750, if you actually have that much. As for the XBox, take your pick….every model will be discounted $50 from its usual price.
Best Buy’s games: Overwatch and Titanfall 2 are $35, but just the XBox versions (no idea why), Mafia 3, Bioshock: The Collection, Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4, Destiny – The Collection, the PlayStation Camera and Grand Theft Auto 5 are all $30, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience, The Division, No Man’s Sky and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition have been slashed to $25, and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Street Fighter 5, Star Wars: Battlefront and Dark Souls 3 are a mere $20.
Walmart’s Black Friday sale officially commences at 6 PM November 24 and lasts throughout the 25th. Best Buy’s deals run from the 24th through the 26th.
