Naughty Dog Believes They'll Make "One or Two" More PS4 Games
If the recently console cycles have taught us anything, it’s that big budget, triple-A developers take their time to make their games, which they should in many cases. Naughty Dog is definitely one of those developers, as they want to make sure each title they release is worthy of fans. That being said, they still believe that after Uncharted 4 comes out, they’ll be making a few more games for PS4. Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer talked with Finder and noted:
“I would hope so. I would hope we would release a game pretty soon. Yeah, our development cycles aren’t too long so and I have no idea how long this console generation really is going to last, but, yeah, there’s no doubt it should be in this console generation for sure.”
He added, “I mean I have no doubt – I don’t know what the timelines are – but we have at least one, maybe two games left in the console generation, maybe more. Clearly we can release a game really late in a console generation and do well, right?”
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releases March 18th, 2016. With rumors of what the next generation of consoles will be already in the works, you have to wonder how quickly Naughty Dog will have to show what they’re up to in order to make it this generation.
