New Conan Tabletop Game Debuts At German Trade Show
Earlier Popgeeks told you about a new Conan the Barbarian tabletop game coming from Modiphius Entertainment. Now we know where the game will make its worldwide debut: at Essen-Spiel, a four-day RPG gaming convention in Germany. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t German — the game will be available on their website shortly after.
Modiphius is thrilled to launch the Conan Roleplaying Game: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of, where heroes raise blood-spattered swords against dire sorcery, exotic lands beckon to the daring, danger and treasure lurks in forgotten ruins, and where loathsome creatures haunt the spaces beneath the earth… as well as in the throne-rooms of mighty kingdoms. Releasing at Essen-Spiel, the Conan RPG Core Rulebook will be available at both Modiphius stand (€40) alongside the Players Guide (€20), Jeweled Thrones of the Earth adventures book (€20), dice sets (€17), four mighty Geomorphic Tile Sets (€25 each – compatible with Monolith’s Conan boardgame) and Gamesmaster Screen (€25).
Modiphius will be showing off other games at Essen-Spiel. Their new Star Trek game, Star Trek Adventures, made its premiere in August at another con, but plenty of copies will be on hand as well as demo units for con goers to try out. Essen-Spiel will also mark the first time anywhere that the public can sample Modiphius’ Fallout RPG, Fallout: Wasteland Warfare. That game is scheduled for release in March of 2018.
Those who can make it to the Modiphius booth will also find a vast selection of their library on sale: Cold & Dark, the multi-Ennie winning Tales From the Loop, alongside Symbaroum, Coriolis, Mindjammer, Fragged Empire, Achtung! Cthulhu, Mutant Chronicles, Mutant GenLab Alpha, Thunderbirds, Airfix Battles, Shadows Over Normandy and Dust Adventures.
