The Nursery Lands Distribution Deal
The indie horror film The Nursery has officially signed a distribution deal with Uncork’d Entertainment and will see wide release sometime in 2018, likely late spring or early summer. The film follows a college sophomore who encounters bizarre supernatural phenomena while babysitting for a family with a tragic history. The ghost stalking her won’t go away until she and her friends can find a way to defeat it.
“Uncork’d is very excited to pick up The Nursery and get it out there for horror fans to see,” said Keith Leopard, President of Uncork’d Entertainment. “It’s a great, old school style horror flick that genre fans are really going to enjoy.” Executive Producers Glenn Chung, Chris Micklos, and Jay Sapiro said in a joint statement, “Uncork’d is a terrific horror distributor with an outstanding reputation, and we are excited that they will be helping us get the film out there and build on our already robust fan following.”
Other films that Uncork’d has picked up for 2018 distribution include include Matt Mitchell’s The Rizen, Lou Simon’s 3, and Jurassic Games from Gremlin director Ryan Bellgardt.
