“Old Rick” Will Be Explained In Seasons Return
Walking Dead fans were dealt an interesting twist when the Season 08 trailer was shown at San Diego Comic Con. For at the end, we saw a much older version of Rick Grimes waking up, seemingly pointing to a flashfoward of some sort. Which left many confused as to what’s really going on.
Well, at the Television Critics Association, Robert Kirkman talked to reports about what it might mean, but did confirm that fans won’t have to wait long to find out what it means:
“I’m pretty sure you’ll learn in the first episode what that means.”
“First episode” means the first episode of Season 08 which arrives this October. But still, that teaser didn’t satisfy reports, so they continued to ask questions, including what it could mean, Kirkman noted though that it may not be exactly what you think it means, especially if you’ve read The Walking Dead comics:
“Comic book fans know where a scene that kind of looked like that would fall, but it also doesn’t seem like we would be getting to that just yet if you were a comic book fan, so there’s a mystery to that.”
So what does it all mean? Guess we’ll find out October 22nd.

"Old Rick" should make for an interesting plot in the upcoming season. Still in shock at the bravery of Sasha in the last season, The Walking Dead has only left its audiences craving more. As one of the most highly rated and anticipated television shows to date, one can't help but wonder what is in store for Rick and the gang. October can't get here soon enough!
