Bill Maher thinks watching people play video games on Twitch is a waste of time
Bill Maher decided to defend Baby Boomers by criticizing Gen Z and Millenials. He bashed them for something they love. He said on his show that people who watch game streamers on Twitch waste their time. This 65-year-old political commentator criticizes something he never understands. I guess it is his attempt at comedy. I am pretty sure he loves to watch sports and I don’t judge him for watching people exercise. People watches Mr.Maher to talk, Well people also watches videogame streamers to talk. The videogame industry is $90 billion by the end of 2020. It is now worth more than the movie industry which is around $42.2 billion. The video game industry is also worth more than the music industry which is worth $11.9 billion. I am pretty sure it will take over the television industry soon eventually. The streaming industry is not useless, Charity fundraising had been done to raise funds for different important causes. Criticizing and looking down on something foreign for his generation makes his argument
Invincible Renewed for 2 more seasons
Amazon Prime video hits the Jackpot with Invincible. Not only it’s first season is a success, it’s lead actor Steven Yeun got a more mainstream after the success of his movie Manari. This animated adaptation of an Image comic original makes me feel all giddy with all that quality content. Three seasons will be enough to cover the whole run of the original comics. Unless we will have truckload fillers like the Shounen genre animes. Invincible is about a boy Mark Grayson who is the son of the most powerful superhero on earth. Invincible is not your Ma and Pa’s superhero show. If you like “the boys” you will not loathe this show. Now all the eight episodes of the first season are complete, it is time to catch up and binge the first season. Invincible doesn’t take itself seriously because it has a lot of comedy despite of the dark theme. The support characters also gets to shine on their own because they have their own side stories. So
Dexter will back with a 10 episode miniseries.
Dexter, America’s most beloved serial killer is back. He will be in 10 episode miniseries that will air on SHOWTIME. This new show will be coming this fall and while waiting for that people can binge the first 10 seasons. Michael C. Hall is going to reprise his role as America’s favorite serial killer. The first run of the show spawned 10 seasons because the audience craves an antihero. I remember the 10th season having a satisfying ending. So that makes me not expect any continuation coming. Dexter centers around Dexter Morgan, He is a dorky forensic technician who lives a secret life because he is also a Vigilante serial killer. Unlike most serial killers he mostly kills bad people like corrupt politicians, child molesters, his fellow serial killers, etc. There are instances though that he did will innocent people out of necessity or even mercy like a lady who is suffering from her illness. This show did have some plotlines that I found uncomfortable, Michael C. Hall dated Jennifer
The Bleepin’ Robot Chicken Archie Comics Special Airs May 23
Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken parodies just about everything, but every now and then their targets have enough of a sense of humor that they partner with RC to produce officially licensed specials centered around their IPs. You can add Archie Comics to that list when what has been dubbed The Bleepin’ Robot Chicken Archie Comics Special runs next month. Given that this is Robot Chicken we’re talking about, virtually anything could happen, but there are a couple of hints on what we’re in for within the official description: “Archie faces the action-packed return of Josie and the Pussycats from outer space to Riverdale in this animated comedy. Featuring the origin of Archie Andrews as only the Robot Chicken writers can tell it! Plus, wacky shenanigans!” The voice cast is an impressive one. The detail that leaps out here is that they got Rachel Leigh Cook to reprise her role as Josie from the cult classic Pussycats movie, which is awesome. (She will also sing and Cree Summer will step in
Stargirl Will Return Much Later Than Anyone Figured
The CW put out its schedule of summer premieres this morning. The biggest question was where fan favorite Stargirl was going to appear — the network had previously promised “summer 2021” but did not elaborate further. While the date is technically within the summer, it’s cutting things close. We won’t get Season 2 of Stargirl until AUGUST 10. Spending the breezy summer months with Courtney Whitmore was nice last year, especially under lockdown circumstances…summer feels like a good zone for this sunny series, but apparently CW wanted to save some of it for the fall (which is actually a good sign for its future, but…) In the meantime, it’s not like there’ll be nothing on. Due to the delay in launching this season due to COVID, there will be a lot more CW originals to check out this summer, like the return of Superman and Lois (new episodes will air into August). The Republic Of Sarah begins its run July 26. In The Dark, which only I watch, begins its
Sweet Tooth Coming to Netflix
Netflix releases the Trailer of Sweet Tooth Sweet Tooth is not the biopic of the Twisted Metal Villain but you know what? I want something like that to be adapted. It is not an adaptation of the Fall Out boy music video of Sugar, We’re Goin Down neither. So what exactly is Sweet Tooth? It is an adaptation of a comic book of a DC comics character of the same name. The comic book it is based from a story written by Jeff Lemire. He is notable for his works on Marvel and DC too like Old Man Logan and Justice League Dark. A boy named Gus is born to have
DC FanDome Will Return For A Second Year
Last year, with no public conventions to show off their creations, Warner Bros and DC decided to embrace the digital alternative with the creation of DC FanDome, a virtual convention with multiple streams of panels starring the cast and crew of current and upcoming DC movies and shows. Looks like it worked out well enough that they’re willing to try it again. A second DC Fandome has been announced for October 16. “The epic global event is back!” DC bragged on their Twitter account this morning, embedding the message with a short text-based teaser containing the 1978 Superman score. The epic global event is back!Return to #DCFanDome 10.16.21 pic.twitter.com/ZifZGCPOig — DC (@DCComics) April 28, 2021 As for the question of what will be shown off this year, no one really knows yet. The individual panels have not been revealed, nor have they admitted which trailers could possibly make their debut. It’s a given that we should see something related to The Batman, the highest-profile DC release close to FanDome’s date.
ScourgeBringer Travels to PS4 And Vita
There’s a new roguelite platformer, Scourgebringer, that just arrived on Playstation 4 and Vita…yes, we said Vita. You might have heard Sony had plans to shut down the digital market, but they changed their mind a week later. They probably held off the handheld’s execution date so this specific game could be released on it properly. “Oh right, ScourgeBringer.” Guide our hero Khyra as she hacks and slashes her way through the corridors of a dangerous dungeon on a mission to save her world. Helping her out is a combat drone that you can use to shoot enemies that her sword can’t reach. The game is partially inspired by The Binding Of Isaac, and as such does not allow backtracking, instead relying on a procedural combination of pre-built challenge rooms. Developer Flying Oak Games is aiming specifically at the Vita niche with this, and has even managed to produce a physical version…how, you may ask, when Vita physicals have been shut down? They’re doing it directly from Japan — the

First trailer of Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story
The first trailer of West Side story is now out! West Side Story is classic musical that tackles issues like racism. This musical had been around Broadway for many generations because of it’s universal theme. It is a modern take on Romeo and Juliet but with an interracial twist. The plot revolves around the tension between the Jets and the Sharks. Two feuding gangs of teenage Caucasian and Puerto Rican teenagers in New York. Tony the bestfriend of the leader of the Jets and Maria, the sister of the leader of the Sharks fell in love. Iconic Director Steven Spielberg will be directing the movie the reimagining. For a Musical that is criticism about racism, It has a racist history. Which is a shame because it was considered to be a culturally significant by the US Congress for the National Film Registry. Magic Mirror wants to buy this invention but GIO Labs refuses the offer. The GIO representative was on her way home when the AI humanoid alerted her to
