PlayStation Plus Gets A Price Hike
PlayStation Plus prices are set to increase on September 22 for the first time since the service launched in 2010. Revealing on the change in pricing on the official PlayStation Blog, Sony WILl now be charging $60 for a full year membership, a price hike of $10.
- $59.99 for one year (up from $49.99)
- $24.99 for three months (up from $17.99)
- $9.99 for one month (no change in price)
Those who don’t want to pay the new increased price can simply cancel their membership when it comes time to renew. However, this means that you’ll lose out on online multiplayer on PlayStation 4 and will no longer have access to the free games that are offered every month.
