Quicksilver Will Be In Next X-Men Film
Say what you will about the rebooted X-Men films, but they got things more right than wrong. One of which was the depiction of fan-favorite character Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver. The character made a debut in Days of Future Past, and nearly stole the show in a couple of minutes. Then, he appeared in X-Men: Apocalypse and nearly did the same thing. However, at the end of that movie, it was shown that he had fully become one of the X-Men.
Now, the Hollywood Reporter is saying that Evan Peters will once again done the silver hair and be Quicksilver for a third time in the upcoming X-Men film called Dark Phoenix.
This film will be the universes second take on the Dark Phoenix Saga, as it was first shown in X-Men: The Last Stand. However, as many have noted, that was more of a sidestory instead of a full-on film. What will be interesting here is what Quicksilver’s part in the film will be. In Apocalypse, he tried to reveal to Magneto that he was his son, but couldn’t do it. There has been confirmation that Michael Fassbender will return to be Magneto, so could they finally get their reveal moment?
And of course, you know there’s going to be an epic slow motion scene as well.
