Rogue One: Latest TV Spot Shows Heroes Coming Together
Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm dropped the latest TV spot with some new footage today for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which marks a new era for the Star Wars franchise. This is the first of a group of planned standalone, anthology movies Disney will release under the Star Wars franchise banner. You can check out the new TV spot, “Together,” in the player below.
The latest video emphasizes the different heroes of Rogue One, who come together to fight against the Empire. There’s also some cool new shots of the newly completed Death Star, which makes a return for the film, along with Darth Vader.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters on December 16 in 3D, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D. The upcoming feature stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. The project was directed by Gareth Edwards, from a script by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy. Here’s an official synopsis:
