SDCC 2016: DC Comics Announces 3 Animated Movies
Ahead of the premiere for The Killing Joke, DC Comics announced the next three animated movies that fans will get to see.
First came confirmation of the Justice League Dark film. JLD is a team of magical DC Comics heroes and entities who unite to fight supernatural threats. John Constantine and Swamp Thing have been confirmed for this film.
Next was the reveal of Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. This film is an adaptation of the classic George Perez story that brought Terra into the DC Comics universe. It has long been rumored that this film would happen, but this if the first confirmation of it.
Finally, in 2017, a Batman/Harley Quinn film has been announced. It will be an original story written by Bruce Timm, who actually co-created Harley Quinn with Paul Dini.
