SDCC 2017: Michelle Pfeiffer Is Janet Van Dyne
When the original Ant-Man film debuted, a lot of changes were done that some fans weren’t happy about. The man in the Ant-Man suit was not Hank Pym, but rather Scott Lang, and instead of Janet Van Dyne as The Wasp, we found out she “disappeared” and Hope Van Dyne, her and Pym’s daughter was going to take the reins. Well, at the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic Con, we found out that the upcoming sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp is going to have us see Janet…and it’s Michelle Pfeiffer.
That’s right, the lady who made Catwoman even more famous (and infamous) is bringing another leading comic lady to life. But also announced were other major comic players coming to life, including Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo and Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster.
This is really going to be a star-studded sequel when Ant-Man and The Wasp arrives July 6th 2018.
