Sources claim to have seen TimeSplitters 4 running
Our friends at CVG have reported that trusted persons close to Official Xbox Magazine are claiming to have witnessed still-to-be-revealed FPS TimeSplitters 4 in action.
While the mag’s latest issue notes there is no guarantee that a follow-up to 2005’s TimeSplitters: Future Perfect will see the light of day, its authors describe this news as “a promising sign” that Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical Design) might one day progress the title from development phase to market release.
OXM writes:
“Trusted OXM sources have claimed that they’ve seen TimeSplitters 4 running. That’s no guarantee that it’ll be released – at least one version of Star Wars: Battlefront 3 was cancelled without ever being announced – but it’s a promising sign.”
This month’s Official PlayStation Magazine underpins this by making reference to an impending TimeSplitters 4 announcement in its rumours section, as can be seen in the photo below:
