Street Fighter V Was Literally Beaten By A Baby
The first time I played a fighting game was around early 1995. It was a “free afternoon” at school, and one boy brought his SNES and a copy of the new Mortal Kombat II. We gathered around the game, several people played against each other, and then it became my turn. Only problem was, since I’d never played a fighting game before, I had no idea where to start. So in a last-ditch effort to avoid humiliation, I mashed buttons wildly, hoping to hit the ones that mattered.
It turns out, that’s exactly how to succeed at Mortal Kombat II. I won the match easily.
This story is relevant because today a video went viral of Street Fighter V being conquered by a literal baby, proving that fighters haven’t changed much.
The video was captured and uploaded by someone with the Youtube handle “PapaPaint,” who was playing through the game while his spawn was drooling on the floor. He figured “why not,” eschewed the ESRB rating and handed Baby the controller. Many hits resulted — from both the deadly tot’s hands and the Internet when the video was uploaded.
