Most of you are familiar with Limited Run Games, the company that publishes small physical print runs of indie titles for Playstation 4 — but they’re expanding. They’ve announced a new agreement with Nintendo to print Switch games, but it appears somebody else has already beaten them to the punch.
Limited Run is based in the US, which means anyone who lives elsewhere has to import or forget it. Now the UK -based Super Rare Games has surfaced to become its European counterpart! Their first product, Human: Fall Flat for Switch, is available today.
Super Rare Games will only print 5,000 copies of each title, and they’ll include trading cards within the package of each game. 125 of these cards will be signed by members of the game’s development team. For Human; Fall Flat, the rare cards will be signed by the game’s creator, Tomas Sakalauskas.
“Human: Fall Flat has been Curve Digital’s biggest Nintendo Switch digital release, so we know demand for this wonderful collectors’ edition is going to be huge,” says Simon Byron, Publishing Director at Curve Digital. “Given the game has sold over two million copies on all formats since launch and this is the first time it’s ever been available as a physical release, these 5,000 copies will be highly treasured and hugely collectible for years to come.”
Super Rare Games is also publishing the Human: Fall Flat soundtrack on vinyl, but only 500 copies will be made. As with the games on Limited Run, stock will last until the initial run sells out. As of this writing the game is still available, and they do accept US purchases.
