SuperMansion Returning With Holiday Special
Crackle has officially announced that the stop-motion comedy series, SuperMansion, is coming back with a new holiday special, SuperMansion: War on Christmas, which will be premiering on Thursday, December 8. The announcement was made this week at the New York Comic-Con during the SuperMansion panel with creators Zeb Wells and Matthew Senreich, and voiceover cast including Keegan-Michael Key, Breckin Meyer, Heidi Gardner, and Gary Anthony Williams.
The new special focuses on the dysfunctional team of superheroes, the League of Freedom, coming together to save Christmas from an alien imp named Mr. Skibumpers, who is played by The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons. The team will have to learn to understand that their differences of the holiday spirit are what they are about.
The show boasts an all-star cast, including Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, Seth Green, Jillan Bell, the late Anton Yelchin, Dan Stevens, Heidi Gardner, Tucker GIlmore, and Zeb Wells. Gary Anthony Williams and Jim Parsons join the cast for the holiday special.
SuperMansion is produced by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. The show is slated to return for its second season in early 2017 on Crackle, which is Sony’s streaming service. At least this special will get the ball rolling and give fans an appetizer before the new season starts.
