New Seasons Confirmed For The CW’s Comic Book Shows
A week ago we reported that the producers of Legends of Tomorrow wanted to put Constantine in every episode next season, but that depended on there being a next season. In fact, none of the network’s shows had gotten word of a fall renewal yet and it was already April. Typical for any other network, but unusual for The CW. Maybe the envelope got lost in the mail, but it’s been found now. The CW confirmed today its entire superhero lineup — Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and NEW Black Lightning — has been renewed for the 2018-2019 season. That’s at least 22 (in some cases 18) more episodes of Kara’s sunny personality, Cisco’s kitschy T-shirts, and the sheer concentrated candy rush that is Legends. Oh yeah, and dull mopey angst from Oliver Queen and company, but you can’t win ’em all.
