Anthem Day One Patch Notes
Anthem launches in a matter of hours! EA’s most ambitious title of the year and Bioware’s next big franchise (that’s the hope anyway) goes live for all players February 22, after a somewhat tumultuous series of beta tests. Bioware wants everyone to know they’ve been working on resolving the issues that came up during those tests, and the game will be patched the second of launch to deal with them. Long load times were an issue raised in every review. For an MMO, Anthem is rather story-heavy, and having to wait for everyone to finish loading a cutscene was a drag. In addition, something as simple as changing one’s armor turned into a tedious chore (one reviewer clocked the task at four minutes total). Bioware says the load times should be greatly reduced.
