People Can Fly Working With Square Enix On New Title

Developer People Can Fly has announced that they are working in collaboration with Square Enix on a brand new project. The mystery project has been described as a “new high-end original title for consoles and PC.” However, considering that they have previously worked on games like Bulletstorm and Painkiller, the game is likely to be a shooter of some sort. “We’re building a game we all want to play which will be the perfect addition to our portfolio,” said Lee Singleton, head of studio at Square Enix London. Unfortunately, the game won’t be showing up at this year’s E3 so we won’t get a closer look at it for some time. Those who want to get up close and person with its development can apply or a number of new positions that have opened up at the studio as they begin work.

Gearbox Software revealed a new edition of Bulletstorm this week with Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. This remastered version of Bulletstorm will launch on April 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game has been completely updated with ultra-high resolution graphics. This means players can now enjoy the game with hi-res textures, increased polygon counters, crisper audio, smoother framerates, and running up to as high as 4K resolution on PC and PlayStation 4 Pro. The upgraded version of the game features all the previously-released DLC and even all new content. Players who pre-order the game will also be able to play as Duke Nukem in the game. This includes full voice-over from Duke, who will replace the main character Grayson Hunt and provide gamers with a new experience. In wake of the Connecticut school shooting, the NRA is coming out and blaming video games as the cause of the shooting, or at least, partially to blame.
