Colin Trevorrow Was Apparently Fired
Star Wars land has had some very big departures in the last few months. First came the release of Phil Lord and Chris Miller from the Han Solo film, and then Colin Trevorrow this week was released from Star Wars Episode IX. Now, there’s some conflicting reports about whether he was released amicably, or whether he was fired. The Star Wars site said that, however, Vulture is reporting that sources in the film are stating that Trevorrow caused a lot of tension on set, and that started to build to him being fired: “During the making of Jurassic World, he focused a great deal of his creative energies on asserting his opinion,” the executive explains. “But because he had been personally hired by Spielberg, nobody could say, ‘You’re fired.’ Once that film went through the roof and he chose to do Henry, [Trevorrow] was unbearable.
