Rumor: Multiplayer being added to Dragon Age?
Maybe with the addition of multiplayer to Mass Effect 3 this was inevitable.

Zemi Interactive, Inc., Korea’s leading MMORPG developer and service provider of famous free to play MMO “4Story” www.global.4story.com provided some sneak preview of the coming updates. According to a sneak preview provided by one of the developers of 4Story, 4Story will be undergoing major changes. When? There were no mentioning of when, but it did sound like “soon!” and what types of change will come are also vague. But there was one change that became known to the public and that is the introducing of cash items into the in-game shops.
Traditional RPGs are becoming a rare and seemingly dying breed. Are we looking at the end of a roleplaying era and if so what does that mean for gamers? Are the triple AAA, high dollared budget roleplaying games a thing of the past?

It’s Wednesday and time for the EU PlayStation Store update. A few of you might know or even care that I tend to view the Mass Effect series as Bioware’s only saving grace in the last couple of years. When I play duds like Dragon Age 2, I have to hope that somewhere, somehow, they have a bright team writing great stories that flow well into game play. So far, that team has been on Mass Effect. While some might argue that the games are a bit rigid to play, they still have great story. I tend to forgive a fair amount if the game takes me out of reality a bit and gets me into the characters.
Every now and again, a game will come out that claims to be the spiritual successor to one that came before it. Usually, they fall short of the claim. I am here to report that once again, contrary to claims made elsewhere, Dragon Age 2 is no Baldur’s Gate 2. It isn’t even in the same league. Hit the break to view our verdict.

It’s Wednesday and time for the EU PlayStation Store update. Ross McGrath writes: “PSone – Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver joins us on the EU Store, proving that you don’t need a bottom jaw when you’ve got a snazzy pashmina type thing to keep the flies off. Oh, I seem to remember there’s a tale of revenge and vampire killing in there somewhere as well.” To view the full list of updated content hit the break, and remember to let us know what you think in the comment section.
The original Dragon Age was a mixed bag, featuring repetitive combat and a conversation system that feels more dated than Betty White. As good as Bioware is at developing games they also have a tendency to strip most of the RPG elements out of their sequels. So when Bioware came out and said they wanted to make the sequel to Dragon Age more accessible and stripped down I was a bit disappointed to say the least.
