Today is the day the Crimson Curse expansion launches in Gwent. The expansion adds over 100 cards to the game, across all playable factions. It also introduces the Poison and Bleeding attacks, the Shield and Vitality defense moves, and the Deathblow and Berserk gameplay mechanics. And vampires.

The Gwait is finally over for GWENT. After months in open beta, CD Projekt Red’s Witcher spinoff is finished, polished and ready for play. As thanks for making it happen, everyone who participated in the beta will receive a commemorative player title. Whether you were involved in that or not, you’ll receive a Launch Celebration Pack if you purchase GWENT during the launch window.
Soon, CD Projekt Red will be branding GWENT: The Witcher Card Game with the “COMPLETED” rubber stamp. It’s exiting beta tomorrow and becoming a full-fledged Steam product, but not before one last giant update, which CDPR has dubbed “Homecoming.”
