Monster Hunter World Iceborne: The Board Game Announced
Monster Hunter is one of Capcom’s most successful modern-day series, and since monsters have been a common element of tabletop games since they were first invented, someone figured “why not marry the two.” A board game version of Monster Hunter World was introduced from Steamforged Games in 2021 and the response was enthusiastic — the Kickstarter earned over three million dollars. Something that successful usually gets an inevitable follow-up, so here we are. Steamforged has announced the arrival of Monster Hunter World Iceborne: The Board Game. Based on the world from the Iceborne video game, one to four players will be able to step into a dangerous, below-zero landscape and find ways to take down the most dangerous creatures that roam there.
