Sony Reveals PS4, Also Plan For World Domination
Sony wanted to make sure they had everybody’s attention – no CES, E3 or Comic-Con distractions to get in the way – it is all about Sony today and through most of the year as the company announced the launch of their newest console gaming device, the eight-gigabyte PlayStation 4. The PS4 will work with smartphones and tablets and offer a touchpad controller – the DualShock 4 – with enhanced rumble and a share button as well as a microphone jack. The PS4 will also tout cloud game streaming and backwards compatibility with your old-school PS1, PS2 and PS3 games via their PlayStation Cloud Service. One version of the new console is expected to cost $429 and while a fancy pants version will set you back $529. Sony is expected to release the PlayStation 4 in November 2013.
