Spirited Away Returns To Theaters October 27
This Halloween, get Spirited Away to one of Hayao Miyazaki’s most celebrated feature films. Fathom Events has been teaming up with GKIDS to bring Studio Ghibli’s amazing movie library back to the big screen, and this month the selection is Spirited Away. As with the other Studio Ghibli Fest 2019 screenings, you’ll get a couple of extra features along with the popcorn: an exclusive introduction from podcast producer Griffin McElroy (“My Brother, My Brother, and Me”, “The Adventure Zone”) and a sneak peek of the all new trailer for Makoto Shinkai’s (Your Name) next feature film, “Weathering With You.” Chihiro’s family is moving to a new house, but when they stop on the way to explore an abandoned village, her parents undergo a mysterious transformation and Chihiro is whisked into a world of fantastical spirits ruled over by the sorceress Yubaba.
