Tetsuya Nomura Admits FF7 Remake Was Revealed Too Early
It was back in 2015 when Square Enix revealed they were finally starting work on one of the most demanded projects from Final Fantasy Fanatics: a high-definition trillion-polygon triple-A FF7 remake. The crowd went wild, and then….silence. This was fully expected from Square, who is notorious these days for completing games at a sloth’s pace. But given the time difference of three entire years, many fans hoped and expected we’d finally see something from the game during E3 2018. The anticipation only increased when Square announced their first E3 press streaming in quite some time.
