Funko Games Introduces The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Slaughterhouse
In 2024, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will turn 50 years old. This chilling classic revolutionized the horror genre and spawned countless imitators. We’re sure there will be plenty of items to commemorate the occasion — maybe Gun Interactive will finally release that video game we keep hearing about. But even if they don’t, there will be another way to personally live the terror of encountering a backwoods family of cannibals. Funko Games is preparing a new board game, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Slaughterhouse, for release this fall. It’s an asymmetrical survival game, not unlike Dead By Daylight and other video games, only translated to tabletop mechanics. One player assumes the role of Leatherface and the Sawyer family, while the others play travelers who are looking for a way to escape. There’s only one way to win — by surviving!
