Scientists Creating Tech Devices That Run on Your Blood
Sure, sometimes it seems like the giant tech corporations are already sucking our blood. Look at what Apple charges for memory. But if that’s not literal enough for you, imagine a world where your Google Glass runs on the chemical processes in your own bodily fluids. The Swedish scientists who are building these devices have much nobler intentions, of course, like pacemakers that last as long as you do and smart contact lenses that will monitor your insulin. But there’s not much of leap from that to fully biologically powered Glassholes. [Source: Scientific American]
