  Gal Gadot, was pretty much unknown, starred  as Wonder Woman in DCEU. It became the highest-grossing film directed by a woman, raking in an impressive $822,854,286 at the box office. However, the sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, had a limited theater release due to the pandemic. It made $169,601,036, but it found success on HBO Max. During an interview for her Netflix film Heart of Stone, Gal Gadot confirmed that Wonder Woman 3 is in development, much to the delight of her fans. Despite the reboot, she will continue in the iconic role. However, Patti Jenkins, who was involved in the first two movies, will not return due to creative differences with James Gunn’s vision. Speaking of James Gunn, he fired Henry Cavill, seemingly holding him responsible for the box office failure of Black Adam. Wonder Woman 1984 is out on Theaters few days ago but if you want to stay safe during this Pandemic. You can now watch it for $15 1 month subscription at HBO Max. This is not like the Mulan Deal where you have to pay membership on Disney Plus then pay Rental. It is one single payment. The breathtaking visuals made me wish I saw many anti woke Youtube channels bashing this movie because Maxwell Lord’s character seemed Trump inspired. Well not really, Pedro Paschal’s portrayal of the struggling businessman is the best part of the film. It doesn’t strike any political party at all. He is not the typical movie villain at all because he have a sympathetic side. I don’t want to give away much plot but he is revelation on this film. Ever since Warner Bros. announced a simultaneous home release (via HBO Max) for Wonder Woman 1984, we’ve been wondering what their next move is. Early whispers suggested a hybrid strategy where WB would use a similar strategy for some movies and keep others theatrical, but….they’re going all in on this. WB dropped a bomb on the movie industry this morning when they revealed ALL their upcoming films for 2021 will follow WW84’s example. On the day each of their movies open in theaters, they will also be available to stream through HBO Max for approximately one month. That includes The Little Things, Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom & Jerry, Godzilla vs. Kong, Mortal Kombat, Those Who Wish Me Dead, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, In The Heights, Space Jam: A New Legacy, The Suicide Squad, Reminiscence, Malignant, Dune, The Many Saints of Newark, King Richard, Cry Macho and Matrix 4.  It’s a bold experiment, but it’s not the future YET. I’m hardly the first one to say it, but it’s mightily weird that nothing on HBO Max supports 4K, HDR or any of the more modern media technologies. That may soon change, however. Director Patty Jenkins made an announcement on her Twitter account this morning: her Wonder Woman 1984 will be streamable in all kinds of fancy formats when it goes live Christmas Day, and most of them are new to the channel. The list of support includes 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Dolby Vision is a fancier version of HDR, and Dolby Atmos is about as “surround” as surround sound currently gets with support for speakers both above and below the viewer. As the clock counted down to the latest release date for Wonder Woman 1984, the general assumption from everyone was that it would be changed again. The date has jumped six times, from November 1, 2019 to December 13, 2019 to June 5, 2020 to August 14, 2020 to October 2, 2020 to, most recently, December 25, 2020. And it doesn’t look like the world will be well again at that point either, so…spring 2021? Summer 2021? To everyone’s surprise, Warner Bros announced today that it’s going to be Christmas 2020 once and for all. To prove they’re serious, WB is uploading the entire movie to HBO Max on the same day. That is correct, if you have an HBO Max subscription ($15 a month, about the same as a ticket in some places), you can watch Wonder Woman 1984 at home on the same day selected theaters will get it. Cryptozoic Entertainment, makers of minatures and tabletop adventures based around your favorite characters, is gearing up to celebrate the long-delayed release of Wonder Woman 1984 with their own card game based on the movie. Presumably, this card game has been sitting around complete for quite a while as well, but they seem to feel confident enough in the latest release window to reveal this product. Two to four players will take on the task of stopping the evil Cheetah in the Synth ‘n Glitter Age as Amazonian princess Wonder Woman. First Wonder Woman 1984 was going to be a summer event. Then things curved more toward Halloween. Now it looks like it’s going to be a holiday thing, as the release date for the sequel has slipped yet again to December 25, 2020 (previous date: October 2). It’s a good thing Diana is immortal. While other studios have been willing to unload their intended theater tentpoles onto home streaming formats after waiting enough time, WB seems extra-resistant. Their most recent release, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, was not offered digitally and the results were a $20 million opening weekend…better than expected, given the circumstances, but the film itself cost $200 million to make. Tenet is more likely to make back its budget in overseas sales from locations that didn’t completely bungle the COVID response — $126 million has been made from the film across other countries. The UK magazine Total Film recently interviewed Patty Jenkins, director of the first Wonder Woman as well as the upcoming sequel, and they managed to get this out of her: she and WB are already pre-planning Wonder Woman 3, and that’s not all. A spinoff is also in the works, centered around the Amazon family that Diana originated from. The Wonder Woman 1984 trailer is totally rad, and we’re not just saying that because it’s historically appropriate. We’ve watched this at least five times in a row; it’s just that good. Princess Diana soars through a stormy sky, performs spectacular slo-mo stunts, chases criminals through Starcourt Mall, and at the end reveals an awesome new set of body armor. Warner Bros. has officially begun shooting Wonder Woman 2! They’re not wasting any time getting a sequel to their one proven superhero-movie success out the door. Patty Jenkins is back as director, and with a well-deserved pay bump. Now she’s releasing the first images from the set of Wonder Woman 2. The first public image of Gal Gadot in the sequel. Looks the same. When you’re an immortal demigod you don’t feel the need to change your wardrobe much. They said Diana would be appearing in a different portion of history, and we now know when. Even if the movie’s official title hadn’t already been revealed as Wonder Woman 1984, we would’ve been able to guess from this shot of Wondy staring at a stack of CRTs displaying rad flourescent graphics.
