WorldAnvil Announces Big Writing Contest
When you’re building a fantasy world — whether for a tabletop game or a novel — it helps to establish the rules for how the world works, as well as its history, its social classes, races and various creatures. For those of you who enjoy noodling around with world-building, the wiki known as WorldAnvil may be a great help. Using WorldAnvil keeps all your notes, storylines and rules efficiently organized and easily searchable. Now WorldAnvil is annoucing the WorldEmber 2017 Challenge. Inspired by NaNoWriMo and Mapvember, the site is challenging all its users to write 6000 words in 31 days. It’s a legitimate contest with prizes from Tabletop Loot available for the winners. WorldAnvil holds other contests too — monthly mini-challenges. In these contests you must write an article within your world on a fixed topic.
