Tangledeep Set for Full Launch on July 19
Impact Gameworks has officially announced this week that the upcoming game, Tangledeep, will get a full launch on July 19. The game is currently available for Steam Early Access starting today. It will be available on July 19 for Windows PC, Mac and Linux.
The game is inspired by classic SNES-era RPGS of 1990s. Tangledeep features pixel art and a throwback score composed by Andrew Aversa, with some accompaniments by Hiroki Kikuta of Secret of Mana fame and also Grant Kirkhope, the composer for GoldenEye 007.
Tangledeep is set in a world where people have enjoyed peace of underground settlements and villages. The only route to the surface is the Tangledeep, a mysterious and constantly changing labyrinth. In the game, players take the role of someone who sets out to the labyrinth to see what lies above the world below. The game features sprawling dungeons, various enemies, and a unique gameplay experience for every playthrough. On each floor of the labyrinth, players will have to contend with a variety of beasts, automatons, danger, and hybrid biomes.
The game also has a customizable job system with nine unique jobs. Players can also choose the level of challenge they want for the game and enable permadeath, or upon death get returned to town. Players can also share progress between characters with a special banking system, which sounds interesting. Gamers can also plant trees an raise monsters in town between adventures.
Tangledeep will be priced at $14.99 when it launches on July 19. You can check out an Early Access trailer in the player below.
