The Beauty Of Horror Brings Forth Its Ultimate Nightmare
The nice thing about the recent trend of adult coloring books is that they’re allowed to get truly adult. The frightening images in Alan Robert’s Beauty of Horror series would make any crayon-eating 3-year-old poop themselves. Now thanks to IDW, the biggest prints yet of Robert’s drawings are about to terrorize the streets.
The Beauty of Horror series consists of The Beauty of Horror Volume One, Volume Two: Ghouliana’s Creepatorium, and the upcoming Volume Three: Haunted Playgrounds. Special selections from all three of these volumes have been blown up to terrifying poster size in the 12″ by 12″ volume Ultimate Nightmare.
“The fan reaction to Beauty of Horror has been phenomenal,” says Justin Eisinger, senior editor at IDW Publishing. “But we knew there were new dark corners of this breakout hit to explore, and this new, collectible format is something we think fans of BoH and coloring books in general will really enjoy.”
“Beauty of Horror fans can finally decorate their walls with their GOREgeous artwork for the very first time, which also means they’ll be inviting Ghouliana into their homes.” quips Robert. “So, don’t blame me when her hollowed eyes creep you out from across the room! Yeah, I’d say Ultimate Nightmare is aptly named.”
The Beauty of Horror: Ultimate Nightmare will cost $40 and will be available September 2018. Pre-order it here.
