The Belko Experiment Comes To Blu-Ray June 27
Odds are pretty good you missed director James Wan’s latest horror flick, The Belko Experiment, when it briefly flickered in theaters last month. The good news on that end is that you won’t have to wait long for the home video versions to appear. Fox Home Entertainment announced today this sordid tale of office management gone wrong will come out on DVD and Blu-Ray this June.
Belko Industries, a normally calm workplace, gets a rude awakening when a mysterious voice on the intercom orders them to participate in a ruthless game of kill or be killed in a blood-soaking battle royale at their office building in Bogotá, Colombia. As the terror escalates, so does the body count. Everyone is a competitor and everyday objects become deadly weapons. Let the corporate carnage commence!
Fox also used the term “bone-crunching horror” in their press release, a phrase that doesn’t get nearly enough use.
The Belko Experiment stars John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), Tony Goldwyn (Scandal), Adria Arjona (True Detective), John C. McGinley (Stan Against Evil), Melonie Diaz (Fruitvale Station), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Sean Gunn (Ordinary World) and Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy). Special features will be the same on Blu and DVD (give or take a few resolution lines) and will include Rules of the Game: The Secrets Behind The Belko Experiment, Lee Hardcastle’s Survival Tips, deleted scenes and a photo gallery.
