Distributor October Coast will be bringing The Ice Cream Truck to a neighborhood near you later this month, thanks to the efforts of writer-director Megan Freels Johnston.

The bad news is, Mary’s husband has to relocate because of his job. The good news is, his employer is coincidentally moving them to the neighborhood where Mary grew up! (We’ll get to the really bad news in a second.) Her family settles affairs in their old house while Mary travels on ahead to get their new abode ready.

But Mary can’t help but feel there’s something unsettling now about the place she grew up in. The neighbors she just met seem to be disappearing one by one. And what’s up with that ice cream truck that patrols down her block every day? I mean, something about this cone just looks off…

Can Mary stop the pattern of murders or is she destined to become the Ice Cream Man’s next victim? The Ice Cream Truck serves up cold chills August 18 in selected theaters and on VOD platforms. Until then, this trailer will have to satisfy you…

Well, this does look very interesting. I don't feel like it's going to be overly creepy or thrilling, but it'll be interesting to watch nonetheless. I wonder where they got the original idea from. Is it based on a book or something?

The movie poster looks eerie enough, but it takes a lot to scare me, so I'm pretty sure I won't be scared when I finally get to see this movie. I hope the plot is good and it won't disappoint in the end like most predictable horror films.

Looks fairly interesting. Being a huge fan of the horror genre, I am always on the lookout for something new to send a chill down my spine. It does indeed look like a typical horror film though. I am truly missing George Romero!

Well it's been sometime now since we have had a new approach to horror movies, i hope this one lives up to the hype and delivers.
