The Iron Oath: New Grappler Class Revealed
Curious Panda announced the details tis week for a new class for the planned game The Iron Oath. According to the developer, the game is now at over 75 percent of its funding goal for the project’s Kickstarter campaign. The game has currently raised $35,000 for its $45,000 funding goal, with 15 days still remaining on its campaign.
For the Grappler Class in The Iron Oath, these are warriors who work well in close quarters combat, using both their minds and reflexes as weapons. They wear cloth armor, so they can be somewhat vulnerable. However, the Grappler Class warriors are good at blocking and countering attacks, and then thy can slip into a meditative trance when they are wounded in order to heal their bodies.
Grappler Class also has the Crippling Force, which cuts through the air with fists and releases a shockwave at enemies. This will damage and stun enemies for one round. Another technique for the Grappler Class is the Three-Fsted Fury. This enables the Grappler class to dash forward against his target and damage them and knock them back with three lighting quikck strikes. The Grappler fighter will then repeat the skill on the nearest enemy.
Another attack for Grappler is the Hurricane. This attack is a roundhouse kick to the enemy and knocks them back for two cells. Enemies that are caught in the attack are displaced and suffer significant damage.
The Iron Oath is a new turn-based, tactical RPG that’s in development by Curious Panda. More details on the project are available at the Kickstarter page at the above link.
