The Temples Is A Metal Ocarina Of Time Rearrangement
Who’s ready to get their headbang on, Zelda-style? Materia Collective has released The Temples, a new album that renders the Temple themes from Ocarina of Time in metal style. You get the following tunes taken from each of Ocarina of Time’s dungeons, remixed in guitar-shredding fashion:
01. In Time
02. In Forest
03. In Fire
04. Ice Interlude
05. In Shadow
06. In Spirit
07. In Evil
08. In Courage
This remix is the creation of Ro Panuganti, a pro composer who has to date covered over 200 video game and movie songs. Most recently, he co-founded the Multiplayer project, a charity-supporting videogame remix album. Now he’s bringing the world The Temples.
“The Temples is a culmination of learning new production skills, exploring wholly new areas of guitar playing, and above all, story-telling,” says Panuganti. “Just like its inspired work, The Temples sets out to be a story of bravery over adversity, inviting new worlds and influences to the core music, and hopefully inspires any listener to pick up their instrument.”
They’re so heavy, they may make you think Ozzy is in the room, about to bite the head off a Keese. The Temples is available now on Bandcamp, iTunes and Spotify.
